Breaking Ground
Since the inception of Fritzi Dog, we’ve had many “things just got real” moments but none was more real than the first swing of the sledgehammer to kick off the demo of our very own space at the iconic Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax. To say we’re excited to be in The Farmers Market is a bigger understatement than saying our tots taste pretty good. We scouted dozens of potential locations all over town and while they were each great in their own way, none could dethrone our dream of having a spot at The Farmers Market — the orginal farm-to-table epicenter of Los Angeles and a location that that’s dear to our hearts. Thanks to a healthy dose of patience and a dash of good timing, a highly coveted stall opened up on the East Patio nestled among Farmers Market legends such as Bennett’s Ice Cream and Bob’s Coffee and Doughnuts. Needless to say, we signed the rental agreement in less time than it took for you to read this sentence. Construction on our space is well nearly complete. We’re revamping the kitchen to meet our meaty needs and are bringing all the fixtures up to date. Expect our hot dog battle station to be fully operational by early October . Until then, we’re going to keep perfecting our dog slinging skills to make sure our Stadium Dog (and the rest of our line up) is a home run when we make our debut in the culinary big leagues of the Farmers Market.
