The best things in life aren’t free.
They’re $6.25 a pop.
Meet Fritzi Dog, the alpha and omega of artisanal hot dogs, now open at The Original Farmers Market.
Frankfurter enthusiasts John Moshay and Rebecca Coleman recruited ace chef Neal Fraser (BLD, Grace) to devise a menu sourcing prime cuts of humanely raised, vegetarian-fed meat with none of the stuff that gives dogs a bad name (nitrates, mechanically separated parts).
Build your bun from a selection of wieners (steamed stadium style, curry-infused pork, turkey and duck dogs), Röckenwagner-baked rolls (pretzel, brioche), and toppings (bacon lardoons, jalapeno relish). For sides, try chili cheese fries or the tots, which are fried in omega-rich rice bran oil.
Indecisive types opt for the tasting platter, a flight of up to five four-inch dogs you can mix and match.
They really get our tails wagging.
